Treatment from a Homeopath is a safe and effective form of healing that in its current form has been around for over 200 years. It is one of the natural holistic therapies that looks at and works with the whole person, rather than a named disease.

Homeopathic treatment

Homeopathy is suitable for children, babies and adults. It can treat any kind of condition including emotional and behavioural difficulties as it works to address the needs of the whole person. It is a good therapy to use at times of transition and can be supportive during any difficult times whether the stress is on the physical, mental, emotional or spiritual bodies. I enjoy working with anyone who wants to try homeopathy and is willing to work with me to address whatever the current problems are. I like to work with each individual at a pace that is suitable and comfortable for them; allowing any changes that may be helpful to happen when it is right for you.

Homeopathic Consultation

The first time we meet the consultation will take up to one and half hours for an adult, and about an hour for a child. This time provides you with an opportunity to find out more about homeopathy, ask questions and to provide me with as much detail about yourself that is relevant, and that you feel happy to give; ideally this would include a full social and medical history. All information is received without judgement allowing a caring and supportive approach. I will work with what is happening on a physical, mental and emotional level. A homeopathic remedy is prescribed after the consultation and is usually sent in the post, arriving with you a few days later. I like to see people again 2-6 weeks after the initial consultation. These follow up appointments are shorter and their frequency and number will differ with each individual.

Homeopathic remedies are not addictive and can be used alongside other medication and treatments.

​

Consultations are suitable for acute conditions as well as for long standing chronic complaints.

​

Children's' Clinic

I am running a clinic for children under 14 on a Saturday morning at the centre. This is an opportunity for children to be treated during school term time without having to rush from school when they are often very tired (and so are we as their parents!)

Fees

The fee I charge for my consultations is for each consultation. The fee includes the time that I spend with each person during their appointment, but it also includes the time I spend at home analysing the information and selecting the appropriate remedy (which can be 2 hours). I now make an additional charge for each remedy that I dispense which includes the remedy cost, the bottle, the packaging and postage.
